Postdoctoral Fellow

I am an acoustic and spatial ecologist with a focus on lyrebirds. I am interested in various aspects of the audio-visual display of male lyrebirds, including the geographic variation of their song, the function of different song types and visual display movements, and the processes through which vocal mimicry is learnt. My research also investigates how animal cultures such as bird song can be integrated into conservation.
