Lyanne Abreu

K–12 Education Manager

I bring over 20 years of experience designing and implementing authentic, interdisciplinary, project-based learning curricula. I hold an M.S. in Science Education and a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and I have dedicated my career to blending my expertise in education with innovative, hands-on learning initiatives. As a former high school department chair and elementary school outdoor coordinator, I pioneered a variety of STEAM and Expeditionary Project-Based Learning (PBL) units, focusing on experiential learning through initiatives such as Farm to School programs, youth climate summits, participatory science projects, and international expeditions.
