I edit videos for Bird Academy! Our team crafts captivating videos to accompany our course pages. I also edit videos to use for promoting these courses online and on social media. My background is in filmmaking, and I spent many years working in the advertising industry. I also love birds! I feel so grateful to be able to apply my skills to make content that I’m passionate about, and that is educational (I have already learned so much!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Growing up, I loved making movies with my friends, and this led me to pursue filmmaking in my college career. After graduating from Ithaca College I moved to the New York City area and worked in post-production for TV commercials, music videos, and films. I learned a lot about the advertising industry, and how to edit quality video content. In 2020, I moved back to Ithaca to start my family, and I also reignited my passion for birding! Spending time outside is one of my favorite things to do, and the more time I spend outside the more birds (and bird behavior) I notice. Being able to join the Bird Academy team is such a dream come true! I really enjoy editing videos for these online courses, and am excited for more folks to learn from our very talented instructors! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
