Lee Fitzgerald, Student Employee

After years of fascination with the Lab of Ornithology, I recently started to work with the K-12 Education team in May 2023. As an Environment and Sustainability major concentrating in the humanities, I am passionate about the intersections of social and natural sciences, sustainable development, and environmental justice. I plan to continue to explore the field of environmental education and the possibilities for engaging and inspiring future generations to form meaningful relationships with their environment. 

As a rising senior, I will graduate from Cornell University in May 2024 before I intend to continue my education by pursuing a Master’s degree. 

Outside of the Lab, I enjoy reading, hiking, swimming, perusing second-hand stores for trinkets and art, and spoiling my cat, Pumpkin.
