We offer training workshops for scientists and students working with animal sounds. These workshops cover basic principles (e.g., digital audio, spectrographic analysis) and specific techniques and software. Throughout our workshops, we emphasize how to avoid common pitfalls and errors in recording and analysis. We also discuss the limitations of acoustic methods and how to set realistic expectations when employing these techniques.
