Cornell University Logo

Fonts
In October 2023 we adopted the brand fonts Gibson (sans serif) and Suisse Works (serif). Noto Sans (available on Google Fonts) will now be used for all non-Latin languages. Avenir should only be used for logos and logo lockups. See typography for more details.
NOTE: Gibson has been updated with a NEW version as of 5/7/2024. Before reinstalling the font, be sure to delete the current version (see the instructions for Windows/PC and Mac). Then follow the self-service instructions to update your brand fonts.
Cornell Lab IT distributes fonts to Lab staff computers. To install and work with the fonts, follow the self-service instructions: Self-Service (MAC) Instructions or Software Center for Windows (PC) Instructions.

Important Note about Fonts
Our presentations use the Gibson font (DM Sans for Google Slides). For the best experience, use the PowerPoint desktop app and embed fonts to ensure they display correctly—especially when sharing or presenting on other devices.
