Lyanne Abreu brings over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing authentic, interdisciplinary, project-based learning curricula. Holding a M.S. in Science Education and a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, she has dedicated her career to blending her expertise in education with innovative, hands-on learning initiatives. As a former high school department chair and elementary school outdoor coordinator, Lyanne pioneered a variety of STEAM and Expeditionary Project-Based Learning (PBL) units, focusing on experiential learning through initiatives such as Farm to School programs, youth climate summits, participatory science projects and international expeditions.
