Amelia Parseghian

Financial Analyst

I support the Center for Avian Population Studies with all aspects of financial operations and stewardship related to gifts, grants, and contracts. This includes budget planning, monitoring account activity, and assisting with proposal preparation and submission. I also work on the procurement and preparation of non-sponsored agreements, such as MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) and contracted services (including non-financial), and ensure policy compliance.

My career shifted towards Cornell finance during my six years at NY FarmNet, a farmer support program within Cornell’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. That, coupled with a personal interest in birding, landed me squarely in my position at the Cornell Lab!
