Software Development

I’m responsible for developing and maintaining the Android version of the Merlin Bird Id app. I believe Merlin is a powerful tool for bringing new people from all around the world into birding, and thus raise their awareness of birds and the environment. Tools like Merlin can change people’s and birds’ lives.

I’ve worked with information technology since 2000, and started birding in 2008. I joined the Cornell Lab in 2015 and finally had the chance to combine my professional skills with my passion for birds.
