Development Database Manager

Expertise

Database and Workflow Management • Fundraising Best Practices • Fundraising Reporting • Research and Development in Fundraising Systems and Practices

I work on fundraising database management, including researching, developing, consolidating, reporting and analysis of data, organizing and optimizing data management systems, and training and helping users of those systems. Having our data well organized helps us to keep our costs lower, address the financial needs of our organization, and steward and educate our constituents efficiently and effectively.

I have been working in fundraising since 1990, and I have experience at all levels of fundraising from entry-level database work, to annual giving, direct mail, online fundraising, and major gift, director of development, and international fundraising consulting. In the past I’ve implemented fundraising in countries including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Netherlands, Korea, Israel, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States.
