I’m a producer and editor working with the Lab’s Integrated Marketing and Science Communications groups, where I write, direct, and edit video content that amplifies the Lab’s mission and connects with diverse audiences. I lead the development of storytelling assets, both in-house and in collaboration with external partners, designed to inspire action, deepen engagement, and support strategic conservation goals. My work often integrates social-media impact campaigns and is shaped by a strong emphasis on audience-focused creative decisions, ensuring each piece is tailored for maximum impact and accessibility across platforms.
I grew up in Berlin, Germany, and earned a journalism degree from the University of Montana. I launched my career in Washington, D.C., where I spent two decades producing and editing science and nature programming for National Geographic, Discovery Communications, and PBS. My credits include National Geographic Explorer and acclaimed PBS series such as Frontline, Nature, and Nova. Over the years, I advanced to Senior Producer/Co-Executive Producer and Senior Editor roles, driven by a commitment to meaningful storytelling. My work has been recognized with two national Emmy nominations, several festival awards, and the Genesis Award from the Humane Society for Best Documentary.

Interests
Currently I’m most interested in creating short-form, snack-sized content for the Web to inspire the nature lover in all of us. When I’m not working on videos, I love to spend time outside with my family of five soaking in the beauty of New York’s Finger Lakes.
