David J. Weber

Archival Coordinator

My primary job is to grow the sound archive at the Macaulay Library by fostering an international community of recordists to contribute to the archive and archiving historic analog recordings of rarely-recorded birds. Doing so will help to allow Merlin Sound ID to work worldwide, contributing to global bird awareness and conservation action, while also making the archive a stronger repository of natural sounds that can be used by scientists to answer important questions for centuries to come.
