Jacob Reiter

I work mostly with the KDT program in an administrative and operational role. I also assist with monthly school programs and visitor center duties as needed!

I worked as a zookeeper at Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY from age 16 to 22 specializing in birds. After I left the zoo field in July of 2023 I worked as a contract biologist for WEST inc. Surveying birds and bats on an operational windfarm. Additionally, I have done some odds and ends field work involving birds as well as rehabilitation work with many types of wildlife!
