I am a technical lead for Avian Population Studies at the Cornell Lab and oversee software development and system architecture teams that serves eBird, Birds of the World and a number of other projects. My interest in birds and birding started at the age of 9 with a “friendly” bird ID competition on a family vacation to Alaska. When not looking at birds in New York or the Caribbean, I enjoy scuba diving, skiing, and just about anything else that gets me outdoors.
