Liz Kinast

I work with supporters who are interested in making a planned gift to the Cornell Lab. This could mean making a bequest in a will, naming the Cornell Lab as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or insurance policy, or even donating appreciated securities. There are many opportunities to make a gift that will enhance a donor’s financial well-being and provide support for the Lab’s mission during and beyond their lifetime. I enjoy helping people create a legacy that expresses their love for birds and nature.

Inspiration

My interest in birds began as a young girl with backyard bird walks with my grandmother. I’ve spent my career working with mission-driven organizations and am thrilled that my path led to the Cornell Lab, where I can unleash my inner bird nerd! I’m a runner, love being outdoors in all seasons, and am raising my two kids to love birds, too.
