I help develop Deep Learning models for large-scale modeling of bird distributions for the eBird Status and Trends product. I help bridge the gap between current methods in ecology and new technologies and methodologies in artificial intelligence in order to push the boundaries for bird distribution models. I enjoy being able to combine my love for birds with my background and knowledge in computer science.
