User Interface & Experience Designer

I am a designer for the Merlin and eBird apps, helping bring ideas to life. With a focus on scalability and accessibility, I design features aimed to engage more people to learn about birds.

I’ve always been fascinated by interdisciplinary fields that leave a positive impact on the world. At university, I started as a statistics major with a background in biostatistics research, but after I discovered product design, I learned I could combine my analytical skills with my creative side to generate elegant solutions for complex problems.

Since then, I’ve worked as a user interface (UI) design intern for the Merlin and eBird team and as a user experience (UX) designer intern for Amazon Alexa. I am delighted to be back at the Cornell Lab to help spark curiosity about birds and support conservation efforts through user-centric design.
