Nick Masto

Postdoctoral Fellow

I work with state, federal, and non-governmental organizations to develop, analyze, and compare eBird Status and Trends, with ongoing and targeted monitoring approaches for waterfowl and other waterbirds (e.g., aerial surveys, telemetry).

Validating eBird Status and Trends and/or integrating these semi-structured data with targeted monitoring efforts should increase precision and confidence of conservation and management decisions for ducks, geese, swans, and other waterbirds at regional to continental scales.
