In general, I strive to educate people on the importance of science and encourage them to participate in citizen science. The K-12 team offers exactly this allowing me to learn more about the technicalities behind education. I am currently a second-year Environmental Engineer, minoring in Law and Society. Hopefully my diverse background will be able to provide a new outlook on the K-12’s approach on educating students about ornithology!
