NestWatch

As you progress through the Life in a Nest activities, you may be interested in going further with nesting birds. We recommend you check out the Cornell Lab’s participatory science project NestWatch. Whether you find a nest in your schoolyard or you build your own birdhouse, you can monitor local bird nests and report your observations NestWatch. Not sure where to start or want more support? We do offer a free curricula around using NestWatch for grades 5th through 8th. You can download the free Think Outside the (Nest) Box on our website.
