We are very pleased to welcome Philadelphia’s own BORBS to Sapsucker Woods for a day of fun, creativity, and music! Operating in the worlds between jazz and urban ecology, BORBS brings with them opportunities to celebrate the wonder and beauty of birds, culminating in an inspired, improvisatory performance which must be heard to be believed! Participants are guided through stages of listening as they seek novelty in Sapsucker Woods, not only in specific sounds themselves, but also in the possibilities of their relations visually and texturally. There is an inherent ekphrastic, musical, and synthesthetic component to this exploration.
