The Cornell Lab of Ornithology offers a variety of programs and events for visitors of all ages. Please see our events calendar (below) or call 1-800-843-BIRD for more information.

Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:30–10 am (April–October) and 9:30–11 am (November–March). Led by members of the Cayuga Bird Club, we’ll explore the trails at Sapsucker Woods looking and listening for birds. Bring your binoculars and dress for the weather!

Our public programs are hosted in-person and include nature outings, speakers, visiting artists, workshops, and more.
Fridays at 11:00 am. Come upstairs to the Adelson Library for readings of bird-themed books from the library’s children’s collection, songs, and crafts. Ideal for kids ages 2–5 and their families. Adults should remain present with their children.

Trails: Open daily, dawn to dusk. No dogs or bicycles please. Download the trail map.

Join guides from the Botanic Gardens and the Lab of Ornithology for combined bird walk and plant walks this summer. We’ll alternate between tours of Sapsucker Woods and the F.R.
